Barb Gates (PhotoscapeDesign) > When I head to California for work, I stay at the Hotel Zico in Mountain View. We all fondly refer to the rooms there as the Austin Powers' Suites. A bit on the funky side, and my favorite thing are the bathroom sinks. Yes, the sinks :)

Barb Gates (PhotoscapeDesign) > Not all was lost as far as the meal went at the Vietnamese restaurant. I have to say that desert was very good! And pretty, too! For the curious, it was two kinds of sorbet (mango and something else) with a raspberry center, encased in this white chocolate. After the Salty Lemonade disappointment, I was quite happy with this :) Thanks Schmoo for having your camera at the ready!
Barb Gates (PhotoscapeDesign) > So, one night, we went to this "fancy" Vietnamese restaurant for dinner. After ordering a regular lemonade, and getting heat from the rest of the gang about not trying something different, I caved in and ordered the "Salty Lemonade." There were eight of us, and not a one of us could figure out what the heck was floating in the bottom of it! Not very appealing, is it? Oh, and should you ever think about ordering the Salty Lemonade at a restaurant ... don't.
