My father getting a helping hand from my granddaughter (his great-granddaughter) with the bubbles at my son's wedding Saturday. This photo means more to me than I can express.

My son got married today :) Of course, being the mother of the groom, I took hundreds of photos! The maid of honor is from Hawaii and brought the orchids over for the cake. It was quite beautiful. Of all the non-people shots, this is one of my favorites.

Since yesterday was so gray and rainy, it was nice to see the sun today. I like watching the sun slowly creep across the garden and eventually light it all up. I love how the flowers that are not yet in the sunlight have not opened yet. Their siblings in the sun are beginning to wake up :)

It's Saturday, and that means a stop at my local fruit and veggie stand. Oranges, apples, peaches, and, of course, strawberries.

Another gray and rainy day. Playgrounds look so lonely with no children in them!

Back out to the garden today to see what other little lovelies are starting to appear. I think my flowers are not quite sure what to do this year - bloom or don't bloom. It's finally getting a bit warmer during the day, but still quite cold at night. It's causing mass confusion for the plants in my garden!

I love Spring. Everything just comes to life. This Forsythia tree was certainly a bright spot along the river.

Don't even think about touching my favorite stuffed animal. That's right - I'm talking to you. Move away from the toy ...

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I put my camera on auto and pointed it directly into the bright sun. I was quite surprised at the outcome. A bit eery, and you would hardly know it was in the middle of the day! This is straight out of the camera, only cropped a bit.
