Dottie's True Blue Cafe We had heard about this restaurant called Dottie's True Blue Cafe, on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" show on The Food Network. Of course, we had to try it, and it was only about a half block from our hotel. On his show, they said the wait was always about 30 minutes. They were right! We waited about half an hour, and got in. It's a very small restaurant inside, but definitely worth the wait!

Inside Dottie's True Blue Cafe Dottie's True Blue Cafe, a family-owned restaurant, is the place for breakfast in San Francisco. It may not be the fanciest restaurant in town, or the largest, but there is almost always a line out the door on any given morning, filled with both tourists and locals waiting to sit down to one of Dottie's famous breakfasts. Rich pancakes, superb desserts, and a host of hearty muffins and pastries make Dottie's a local favorite.
